However, you don't just have to help out in the hospital, AQM's team will find a project which suits you. Gaining the MV Award could give you the edge, in a competitive jobs market.

WHY DO MV's WANT TO JOIN US AT ACTION QUEEN MARY'S
Many of the young people involved in this project are seeking a future career in the health service. The project offers them a unique opportunity to gain experience whilst volunteering at Queen Mary's. However, not all our MV's are looking for volunteering opportunities in the hospital, and our project aims to meet your needs and support you in what ever you are interested in. There are many projects in the Community. (We've already worked with social services, MIND, YAP, schools and local groups). But we want to fit in with you. We also run one off projects and residential environmental weeks away, which have been a big success for our MV's and made a real difference in the community.
